Peter is a PhD Candidate at the University of Calgary. His research focuses on the representation of hydrologic processes in models, spanning both large-sample/domain studies and research basins across North America. His interests include hydrologic similarity, model structure selection and evaluation, including the usage of hydrologic signatures. Peter aspires to one day publish his work in leading international journals. He has won an Outstanding Student and PhD Candidate Poster (OSPP) Award at EGU25, the Lohrmann Medal as Best Graduate in the Faculty of Environmental Science at TU Dresden (2024), and the Hoskin Scientific Student Poster Award at the CWRA National Conference (2024).
